Salina Police take a report of semi-truck tires that were stolen from a business between Monday and Tuesday. There were no signs of forced entry to a storage area at Commercial Tire, 2144 W. Crawford. The burglary was reported to police on Thursday. Total loss is placed at $5,475.

A counterfeit $20 bill was passed sometime between Monday and Wednesday at a Salina convenience store. The bogus bill was found in the deposit of the 24/7 Store, 2230 N. 9th, at Sunflower Bank.

A Junction City man was arrested Thursday evening on a requested charge of unlawful use of a credit card. 36-year-old Gavonn Fondall is alleged to have taken a credit card from another Junction City man to rent a room at Candlewood Suites, 2650 Planet Avenue, and order pizza from Pizza Hut. Salina Police were contacted about Fondall after the credit card owner learned his card had been used in Salina. Fondall could face additional charges. Total loss in the case thus far is just under $125.
