Salina Police arrest a man Saturday for allegedly stealing items out of a motel room on December 1st.

26-year-old Allen Luebbert, of Salina, is accused of going into a room at Motel 6, 635 W. Diamond Drive, and taking a tablet, cordless drill, and camera surveillance system owned by 35-year-old Brian Luebbert, also of Salina. Total value of the stolen items was estimated at $2,700.

The theft was reported on December 5th. The camera surveillance system was recovered.

Brian Luebbert also reported to police over the weekend that $1,770 in cash was taken from a room he had rented at the AmericInn, 1820 W Crawford, between September 29th and September 30th.

Allen Luebbert was booked into the Saline County Jail on requested charges of burglary, theft, and criminal trespassing.
