UPDATE:
Salina Police continue to search for information and a suspect in a west Salina shooting incident Friday afternoon.
Officers were called to the 1300 block of W. Crawford just after 12:30 Friday afternoon after receiving several reports of gunshots near The Hair Loft and First Bank Kansas.
Witnesses reported seeing a white male open fire on what appeared to be another individual, though it is still unknown who or what was specifically being targeted. There were no injuries in the incident.
Captain Mike Sweeney said that in addition to bullet damage to a pedestrian crosswalk sign in front of The Hair Loft, officers also found damage to a window at Cave Divers, 1103 W. Crawford. Officers also found a bullet fragment from a handgun at the business. Sweeney declined to say what type or caliber of handgun was used.

Salina Police are searching for a suspect that fired shots from a handgun in west Salina early Friday afternoon.
Sgt. Jim Feldman tells The Salina Post that officers were called to the area of Crawford Street and Duvall Avenue just after 12:30 p.m. after receiving several reports of gunshots in the area of First Bank Kansas and The Hair Loft.
When officers arrived at the scene, shell casings were found near the intersection. Officers also found what appeared to be damage to aroad sign caused by a bullet.
Feldman said that witnesses in the area indicated the suspect, described only as a white male, was on foot at the time of the shooting and it appeared as though the man was firing at another individual, though it is unknown who or what was specifically being targeted. There were no reports of any injuries.
Officers were also investigating possible bullet damage to a building in the Sunset Plaza in the 1200 block of W. Crawford, but Feldman could not confirm if that damage was related to the shooting.
Feldman said the investigation was ongoing and more information would likely be released Monday morning.
