A Ford F-350 flatbed truck belonging to a Salina business was found wrecked early Wednesday morning in the southeast part of town.

Police Captain Mike Sweeney said the 2001 truck valued at $15,000, was found in the 2900 block of Jack Circle, where it had knocked down a street light and pole.

The truck owned by Commercial Tire of Salina was taken from the 1800 block of Valley View after 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The wrecked truck was discovered by a passerby at about 2:15 a.m. Wednesday morning. Damage estimates to the truck or light pole was not available.
