A concrete truck that was delivering of a load of concrete to a rural Saline County home collapsed on small wooden bridge at the entrance of the home off of Simpson Road Saturday morning.

Sheriff’s Captain Roger Soldan said no one was hurt when the truck attempted to cross the bridge at 4945 S. Simpson Road, the home of William Desilvey.

The Sheriff’s Office learned of the incident Sunday when the Saline County Road and Bridge Department was contacted by the home owner for a barricade. The bridge is owned by Saline County.

Information on damage to the concrete truck was not available and the bridge is considered at total loss.
