A stolen tag on a car leads to the arrest of a Wichita man Thursday morning on a requested charge of possession of stolen property.

59-year-old Randy Shelinbarger was stopped in the 800 block of E. Crawford at about 8:50 a.m., after a check of the tag came back as a stolen tag.

The car, a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica, had been reported stolen out of Wichita. The key had been left vehicle, which was valued at $5,000.

Shelinbarger was arrested and booked into the Saline County Jail.
