A Saline County motor grader was damaged by vandals sometime between December 17th and December 21st. The grader was parked just off of the intersection of Hedberg Road and Muir Road southwest of Salina. A glass in the cab of the grader was shot, along with two tires. Damage has been estimated at $1,200.

Several items are taken in the burglary of an unoccupied home in western Saline County. Someone forced their way into the home in the 4400 block of Brookville Road sometime between August 28th and Monday. Items taken included an electric guitar and amplifier, a pocket watch and coins, an accordion, a 60-inch TV, and hand tools. The property is owned by Jolene and Loren Norland of McPherson. Total loss in the case has been estimated at $3,000.

A TV, computer equipment, and electronics are among the items taken in a burglary on December 6th. Force was used to gain entry into a building in the 1400 block of State owned by Arthur Bird of Hedville. Among the items taken were three laptop computers, three tablets, and a 32-inch TV. Total loss has been placed at $1,800.
