Police arrested a Salina man Christmas night on a charge of aggravated battery.

Captain Mike Sweeney said 38-year-old Jeffrey Boswell was involved in a disturbance with a woman in her 30’s at a east Salina home at around 10 p.m.

Boswell is alleged to have strangled the woman, who declined medical treatment.
