Alfa G. Brockelman, Sr., 78, of Salina, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015. He was born September 14, 1937 in Salina.
He worked for Koch Truck Line as a transport driver for over 10 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Irene (Lindermuth) Brockelman; wife, Thelma D. Brockelman; sons, Dan and Tom Green; grandsons, Michael Kyler and Ronald Bacon; brothers, Alvin, Clyde Jr. and Phillip Brockelman.
Survivors include his daughters, Lisa Robertson of Grapevine, TX, Linda (Patrick) Kyler of Kannapolis and Vicki (John) Degand of Salina; sons, Alfa“Butch” (Amy) Brockelman, Jr. of Salina, Kenneth (Nichole) Brockelman of Enterprise and Mike Green of Salina; sisters, Joybell Teach of Lincoln and Jenny Heath of Buckley, WA; 20 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2-7, Wednesday, December 30, 2015 with family receiving guests from 5-7 at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 East Crawford, Salina.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Thursday, December 31, 2015 at the chapel. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.

Donald D. Lott, 85, Minneapolis, died Monday, December 28, 2015. He was born March 31, 1930 near Bennington to Henry and Evelyn (McClellan) Lott.
Don served in the United States Air Force from 1950-1954, serving two years in the Philippines. Don was a farmer and owner of C&L Milling. He was also a pilot and owned a Grumman American Dealership in the early 1970’s.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wives Dica and Yvonne; children Ronda Kime and her husband David; son Dave Lott; and brother Willis Lott.
Don leaves behind his beloved wife Leona; children Steve Lott, Mark (Stacey) Lott, Sandra (Frank) Cole, Ken (Beverly) Hoge and daughter-in-law Christa Lott; siblings Vada Bronson, Tom Lott, Milt Lott, Glen Lott, Linda Hendrixson, Curtis Lott, Ruth Johnson and sister-in-law Sara Burwell; grandchildren Brandon, Tracee (Jeff), Cassee, Samm, Tanner (Marisa), Alyx, Geordyn, Hannah, Zachary, Gracie, and Hayden; and great-grandchildren Payton, Hudson, and Jemma. Don is also survived by Yvonne’s children: Richard, Jim, Dennis, Jan Srack, Allen, and Robert Bailey.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 30, at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 31, at Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis followed by a memorial service at 1:00 P.M., at Belmont Boulevard Christian Church, 2508 Belmont Blvd., Salina. David Chelsea Hawkinson, 69, of Emporia, KS, died Wednesday evening, December 23rd, 2015, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on June 12th, 1946, at Herington, Kansas, the son of Wm. Leslie and Lorene (Naslund) Hawkinson.
Services will be held at 1:30 PM, Wednesday, January 6th, 2016, at Zeiner Funeral Home-Herington Chapel, with Pastor Bill Peterson, officiating.
David was baptized at the Hebron Lutheran Church in Burdick, Kansas. He attended school in Burdick. He collected baseball cards, enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles, and playing ten point pitch.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1948 and his mother in 2011.
He is survived by many relatives of the Burdick area.

LEORARD SHANE STOGSDILL, 37 died December 28, 2015 in Clay Center, KS. He was born on July 27, 1978 in St. Louis, MO, the son of Leonard Dale and Sandra (Lund) Stogsdill. Shane worked as a plumber for Mel’s Pump and Plumbing for a few years before starting his own plumbing business. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Stogsdill.

Randy Jon Neuman, 58, passed away Dec. 28, 2015 in Salina. He was born June 24, 1957 in Ellsworth to Alice Mae (Myers) and Dale Joseph Neuman. He was a mechanic at Hoffman Auto Sales and previously at Holm Auto.
Randy is survived by his brother, David Neuman (Sylvia) of Salina; brother, Brett Neuman (Julie) of Ellsworth; sister, Amy Neuman of El Dorado, KS; step mother, Laura Neuman of Kanopolis; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Phillip Neuman.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sat. Jan. 2nd, 2016 at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth.

Donalyn “Lynn” Renee Culver, 55, of Little River, KS passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 27, 2015, surrounded by family at her home in Little River. She was a former Post Office Clerk in Little River and also worked as a dietary aide at Sandstone Heights in Little River.
Lynn was born on November 14, 1960, in Adrian, Michigan, the daughter of Donald Herbert and Ruth Marilyn (Carpenter) Bearss. She graduated from Adrian High School in Adrian, MI. On September 13, 2002, Lynn was united in marriage to David Culver in Little River, KS.
Survivors include: her husband, David of the home; five children, Sara Leavitt of Wichita, KS, Breanna Smith (Jeremy) of McPherson, KS, David Culver, Jr. of Spokane, WA, Kimberly Sparks of Georgia, and Jesse Culver of Georgia; two brothers, Randall Bearss (Jenny) of Spokane, WA and Mark Bearss of Adrian, MI; two sisters, Ann Ehinger of Adrian, MI and Janet Potter of Spring, TX; nine grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, January 1, 2016, at the Little River Congregational Church with Rev. Ted Weis officiating.

Leona T. (Plevka) Shulda was born May 9, 1920 near Wayne, KS. to Fred Plevka and Albina (Sedlacek) Plevka and passed away on December 25, 2015 at Silvercrest Assisted Living in Overland Park, KS. at the age of 95.
On June 26, 1940 Leona was united in marriage to Harold Shulda and to this union was born two children, Loren and Thais. Harold and Leona farmed for 44 years near Munden, then moved to Belleville. Leona moved to Overland Park, KS, six years after Harold died to be close to her children.
Leona loved music. As a youngster, she and her sister Blanche sang at many events, she was a long time member of the St. George’s Catholic Church Choir, the Munden Czech Singers, and the Belleville Square Dance Club. Her hobbies included playing cards, sewing, styling hair, and baking Kolaches. She was the Republic County Kolache Queen twice and enjoyed baking them for others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Blanche Homolka and brother, Edward Plevka.
She is survived by her son, Loren Shulda of Olathe, KS., her daughter, Thais and husband Richard Fahy of Overland Park, KS, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Ten AM, Wednesday, December 30, 2015, St. Edward’s Catholic Church, Belleville, KS., conducted by, Fr. Brian Lager.
Rosary/Vigil service will be at 7:00 PM Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Bachelor-Surber Memorial Chapel, Belleville, KS.
Interment will be in St Isidore’s Catholic Cemetery, Cuba, KS.
