A ninth arrest has been made from January’s Salina’s Most Wanted List.

On Wednesday, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office announced that Jaleka Rutz, who was being sought for possession of methamphetamine and interference with a law enforcement officer, was in custody. Rutz was arrested in Salina early Monday evening.

The Sheriff’s Office also announced the cancellation of another individual on the Most Wanted List. Shane Bartlett is no longer being sought. A warrant for his arrest has been cancelled.

Nine total arrests have now been made from January’s Most Wanted List, which was released this past Saturday. A total of three individuals on the list have now been cancelled.

Since the Most Wanted program began in 2000, more than 2,200 criminals have been captured as a direct result of the list and more than 300 cash rewards have been paid out to tipsters.
