Doris A. Waeldin, of Wichita, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2016. She was born in Peabody, KS to Dr. M.L. and Mary Brakebill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Wilber; and her husband of 49 years, Maurice E. Waeldin; and one sister, Mary (Orville) Walker of Independence, MO;
Doris and Maurice made their home in Salina, KS where she was a homemaker and he a grain merchant.
Doris was a member of the peacemaker’s class at the First United Methodist Church in Salina, a member of Chapter DL of PEO and the Salina Country Club. She was currently residing at The Regent, an independent living facility in Wichita, KS.
Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn (Jon) Tilton of Wichita and Joan (Garth) Wilson of Kansas City, KS; four grandchildren; two step grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and four step great grandchildren;
Visitation will be 2 hours prior to funeral service.
Funeral services at 1:30pm on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Roselawn Memorial Heights Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina.

Helen Rae Pulliam, 64, of Salina, Kansas, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, January 8th, 2016.
Helen was born in Hutchinson, Kansas on July 27, 1951, a daughter of the late Vera Ann (Harrison) and Raymond Levi Pulliam.
Survivors include her brothers, George Pulliam and wife Gloria, of Omaha, Nebraska, Christopher Hiebert, of Molino, Florida; and sister Ella Huff and husband Mark, of Mesquite, Texas.
Helen leaves behind more then just family. She was loved by many in the community and known as the lady on the three wheeled red bike. She went everywhere on her bike and was very proud of it. Helen was a garage sale expert, often finding needed and useful items for friends. She loved children and was a patient and loving mentor and friend. Helen had a special relationship with her Godson Emmett Denton-DeVore. She won blue ribbons at the Tri Rivers Fair for her crocheted people, and could create crocheted animals, people, and other items by merely looking at a picture. Helen loved her church and was a faithful acolyte for many years, serving nearly every Sunday. In addition, she prayed for the people on the prayer list and called, visited them in the hospital, and followed up with them when they returned home. She never sought the limelight, but did the things in the background that made things go smoothly.
At the family’s request there will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 16th, at Church of the Incarnation, 639 Max Ave, Salina, Kansas, with Rev. Randy MacIntosh officiating.

Cherryl K. (Blankenship) Deghand, 71, of Salina, passed away Friday, Jan. 8, 2016. She was born Nov. 5, 1944, in Clarksville, Ark., the daughter of the late Robert L. and LaVonne (Canrobert) Blankenship.
Cherryl was an avid doll collector and loved cats, especially her companion Leonardo, an 18-year-old cat who would sit on the arm of her chair and join her. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading.
Survivors include her husband, Paul “Bud,” of the home; children, Craig Deghand, of Salina, and Michelle Thiem, of North Platte, Neb.; brother, Jerry Blankenship, of Topeka; sister, Tammy Blankenship, of Topeka; grandchild, Danielle Ceder, of Columbus, Neb.; and great-grandchild, Jackson Ceder.
A rosary service will be at 9 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Salina, with memorial service following at 9:30 a.m.
Inurnment will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Topeka.

McKayla Marie Fry, 21 months, of Salina, passed away Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016. She was born April 7, 2014, in Salina to Crystal Kultgen and Levi Fry.
She loved music and dancing. McKayla’s constant smile will be greatly missed.
Left to mourn her passing are her father, Levi Fry, mother, Crystal Kultgen, and brother, Shane Kultgen, all of Salina; grandparents, Curtis Fry, of Udall, Rhonda Rivers, of Vesper, Brent and wife Bonita Bradley, of Adams, and Jamie McFate, of Salina; and great-grandparents, Kent and Phyllis Rippen, of Salina, Pat and Will McGinnis, of South Haven, Ind., Floyd and Marilyn Bradley, of Topeka, Joyce Yonally, of Salina, and Robert Daniels, of Great Bend.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, at Ray Avenue Baptist Church, with the Rev. John Day as celebrant.

JOHN F. BRAUN, 80 died January 10, 2016 at Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan, KS. He was born on November 8, 1935 in Miltonvale, KS, the son of Otto and Mary (Moore) Braun. John was raised in Miltonvale and graduated from Miltonvale High School. He served in the US Army from 1958 to 1960. John farmed and ranched in rural Miltonvale. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Persis Palmer, brother, V.O. “Dutch” Braun, nephew, Mike Wells and niece, Jody Crossley.

R Gerald Fraser, 91, of McPherson, Kansas, passed away at 9:23 a.m., Tuesday, January 12th, while in the company of family members, at McPherson Health And Rehab.
Ralph was born on his parents’ farm near Belleville, Kansas, on July 13, 1924, a son of Lela Cora (Bowersox) and Ralph Eadie Fraser.
Gerald attended the Belleville Center grade school, and graduated from Belleville High School, Belleville, Kansas in 1942. He then attended Kansas State College, Manhattan, Kansas.
Gerald was a member of First United Methodist Church, McPherson. He was a former member of the United Methodist churches in both Belleville and Concordia and the United Church of Kensington.
Gerald honorably served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a lieutenant during WW II as a B-17 bomber pilot.
Gerald was a farmer and later worked for a cooperative in Belleville and Concordia until 1973, when he became the general manager of the Kensington Cooperative Association until his retirement in 1986, when he and Pat moved to McPherson.
Gerald was a member of American Legion Post 24, McPherson Light Capital Singers, McPherson Barbershop Chorus, McPherson Lions Club, and various Bridge Clubs.
Ralph Gerald Fraser was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Clark on September 22, 1945 at Belleville Methodist Church, Belleville, Kansas. They established their first home together on the family farmstead southwest of Belleville.
Gerald is survived by his sons, Michael “Mike” Fraser and his wife, Jeanie, of Garden City, Kansas, John Fraser and his wife, Ruth, of McPherson, Kansas, and Gerald “Gary” D. Fraser and his partner, Steve Schoenecker, of Wichita, Kansas; his sister Ruth Wilber, and her husband, Charles, of Belleville, Kansas; his 4 grandchildren, Mark Fraser and his wife, Anne, Ann Miller and her husband, Scott, Sarah Fraser, and Kate Fraser; his 4 great-grandchildren – Kalen Fraser, Eric Fraser, Jarrod Miller, and Hailey Miller; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Lela Fraser; his wife, Patricia Ann Fraser; a brother, Ray Fraser; a sister, Mary Bruchie; and a daughter-in-law, Kathi Fraser.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. with family present from 5 to 7 p.m., on Thursday, January 14, 2016, at Glidden – Ediger Chapel, McPherson, Kansas.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 15, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church, McPherson, Kansas with Reverend Quentin Bennett officiating. Military honors will be presented by members of the American Legion Post 24 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2715 both of McPherson.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 15th, 2016, at the Belleville Cemetery, Belleville, Kansas with Pastor Harold Nelson officiating.
