Salina Police arrested a 40-year-old man Wednesday on a warrant in connection to a December battery.

40-year-old Michael Squires is alleged to have thrown a woman down on the floor during a disturbance at a south Salina home on December 19th.

The woman’s head hit the floor and she also suffered a cut to her chin.

Squires was booked into the Saline County Jail on a requested charge of aggravated battery.
