Police take two reports Wednesday of counterfeit money. The fake $20 bills were passed at The Arena, 427 S. Broadway, and Casey’s General Store, 1100 E. Iron. Both were passed on January 12th and reported January 13th.

A cello has been taken from a Salina home. Ernest Gable said the theft occurred between Monday and Wednesday at his home in the 900 block of Somerset. The cello, brown in color, is valued at $1,700.
