Two men currently being held in the Dickinson County Jail were indicted Wednesday on federal drug charges, U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said.
The federal indictment charges Arthur Martin Rodriguez, 52, and Daniel Gutierrez, 29, who are both in custody in Dickinson County, with one count each of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. The crime is alleged to have occurred on November 19, 2015 in Dickinson County.
If convicted, they face a penalty of not less than 10 years and a fine up to $10 million.
The Drug Enforcement Administration investigated. Assistant U.S. Attorney Tony Mattivi is prosecuting.
