A check cashing company is the victim of a forgery. Money Zone Inc., 1819 S. Broadway, cashed a check written on the account of Euro Cars of Gladstone, Oregon on December 31st in the amount of $1,950. It was later discovered the check, cashed by a woman, was fraudulent.

A counterfeit $10 bill was passed at Walmart, 2900 S. 9th. The bogus bill was discovered by store employees on January 14th.
