
A Salina woman escaped serious injury after she was ran over at around 9:15 p.m. on Saturday, January 9th in the 1600 block of Beverly.
Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney said 26-year-old Amber Wardele was leaning against a car and arguing with the driver, 36-year-old Sarah Harsh. When Harsh began to drive away, Wardele was pulled under the car and ran over by a rear tire. Harsh drove off a short distance and was stopped.
Wardele suffered abrasions on a arm, knee, and abdomen, but refused treatment from EMS.
Harsh was arrested on requested charges of leaving the scene of an accident, and driving while revoked.
