Introducing Emily Streeter, your BANK VI Hero of the Week!

Emily, 9, was nominated for generously donating to the Salina Animal Shelter.

In April, Emily, a 4th grader at Stewart Elementary School, missed having her 9th birthday party due to unforseen circumstances. Instead, she had a sleepover for her 9 1/2 birthday and rather than bring gifts for her, Emily decided to have all her friends bring donations for the Salina Animal Shelter.

She collected such things as dog and cat treats, dog and cat toys, paper towels, and even a dog bed and donated them all to the shelter. Her parents, Kelly and Michelle Streeter, are very proud of her for doing this.

Emily Streeter collected all of these items and donated them to the Salina Animal Shelter.

Emily is an animal lover and this is her way of helping out the animals at the shelter.
