A Saline County Sheriff’s Deputy unexpectedly passed away on Sunday.

Jeremy Trostle, 32, died as a result of a medical condition. He was not on duty when he passed away. He leaves behind a wife and young daughter.

The Sheriff’s Office says that Trostle, who worked primarily in the civil process area, had been with the department for just over 10 years and that he’ll be remembered for his hard work and dedication to law enforcement.

In 2013, Trostle delivered a premature baby in Brookville after he arrived at a call before paramedics.
