Salina Police arrested a 34-year-old man Monday evening on a warrant for aggravated battery.

Eric Schiltz is alleged to have hit a woman in her 20’s with a stick with nails at around 2 a.m. on January 10th at Schiltz’s home in the 600 block of Gypsum.

The woman suffered a swollen left arm.

Police also found personal use methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in the home. After the disturbance, Schiltz left and was taken into custody Monday evening after a brief foot chase.
