A Salina man makes a report of damage to property at his home. Terry Goetz said between December 15th and January 15th, someone damaged a double pane window on the back of his home in the 600 block of Seitz and cut a phone wire. Total damage has been listed at $1,100.

A Blu-ray player and 40 Blu-ray DVD’s were taken in a residential burglary. There were no sign of forced entry to the home of Thomas Purcell in the 300 block of Baker. The burglary occurred between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. on January 17th. Total loss has been estimated at $520.

Several pair of athletic shoes were taken from the trunk of a car parked in the 800 block of E. Wayne between 10 p.m. January 14th and 1 a.m. January 15th. Taylor Foley said the trunk on his car was not properly closed. Total loss has been estimated at $875.

Jewelry is among the items taken in a home burglary between January 14th and January 16th in the 300 block of S. Oakdale. Kimberly Bishop reports someone gained entry to her home by prying open a door. Taken in the burglary were items including a silver engagement ring and wedding band, a marquee ring with three stones, an Android 7-inch tablet, two AC vacuums, and a AC recovery machine. Total loss is in the case has been placed at $2,180.

A theft of tools occurred between January 9th and January 18th from an apartment at 2140 E. Crawford. Tyler Parker said an impact drill, Sawzall, rechargeable batteries and a charger, reciprocating saw, and a 250 piece mechanic tool set was taken in the theft. Total loss has been estimated at $800.

A car has been reported stolen from a hotel parking lot. Anglea Abrams said the keys were in the Maroon 1996 Ford Taurus when it was taken between 2:40 – 2:45 p.m. Sunday afternoon while parked in the lot of the Ambassador Hotel, 1616 W. Crawford. The license plate on the car is 621-BBX. The car is valued at $2,000.
