Salina Police arrested a 49-year-old homeless man late Wednesday night after he threw and broke bottles of beer at Walgreens, 700 S. Broadway.

Police Captain Chris Trocheck said officers were called to the store at about 11 p.m. where they found William S. Jimerson.

Trocheck said Jimerson, who had been drinking, threw bottles of beer, causing them to break and damage other merchandise.

Total loss and damage was placed at $93.

Jimerson was booked into the Saline County Jail on requested charges of assault, damage to property, theft, and disorderly conduct.
