A 30-year-old man, caught inside a Salina business early Wednesday morning, faces an additional charge of burglary to the same business.
Ryan Howser was found hiding in the attic behind boxes inside Callabresi Heating and Cooling, 1311 Armory, Wednesday morning.
Police responded to an alarm and when they arrived, Howser was leaving the building, but went back inside and hid after seeing police.
Captain Mike Sweeney said an investigation and check of security video led to an additional burglary charge. On January 12th, Howser gained entry into the business and took $23 in cash, a Snicker’s candy bar, a drafting/scaling pen, a Trane heat pump, and Trane thermostats. Total estimated loss in that burglary was $300.
Howser was booked on additional requested charges of burglary and theft on Thursday morning.
