Robert Caldwell was the first African-American teacher in a Salina integrated school, the first school teacher elected Mayor of Salina, and the first African-American elected Mayor of Salina.

Join Marie Johnson as she discusses this man of firsts, from Salina to the Kansas State Legislature and from politics to his personal impact. Johnson is a graduate of Bethany College and has done extensive research on Caldwell.
