A downtown Salina convenience store is the victim of a snatch and grab.

Police Captain Mike Sweeney said a man walked into the Pump Mart, 418 E. Iron, around 9:30 p.m. Saturday evening and brought an item to the counter to purchase. When the clerk opened the register, the suspect reached into the register, took an undetermined amount of money, and left the store.

Sweeney said they do have a known suspect they are looking for.
