Salina Police are investigating two cases of stolen vehicles.

Captain Mike Sweeney said Steven Cleveland of Bennington let an acquaintance borrow his 1992 Chevy S-10 pickup on Monday. When the pickup had not been returned by Thursday, he reported it stolen. The pickup, which is gray in color, has Kansas license plate 586-CCD, and is valued at $1,500.

Alora Ritter tells police that between 6:45 a.m. and 7 a.m. Wednesday morning, she started her 2005 Pontiac G6 to warm up while it was parked in the 300 block of S. 9th. She went back inside her home and when she came out, the car was gone. The car is blue in color, with Kansas license plate 206 DLY, and is valued at $3,000.
