A section of a Saline County road was closed today to repair a drainage structure.

Farrelly Road from Kipp Road to Gypsum Valley Road was closed to through traffic today due to several broken deck planks and deteriorated subflooring on a timber cross road drainage structure, which is located about a 1/4 of a  mile west of Gypsum Valley Road.

Repair work on this structure is being done by a Saline County Road and Bridge Department crew with anticipated completion by the end of Wednesday, February 17th.  Completion is dependent on unforeseen conditions such as adverse weather.
