Police are investigating after a counterfeit bill was discovered at a Salina bank.

Captain Chris Trocheck tells The Salina Post that a bogus $5 bill was discovered in a business deposit between 2:30 and 3 p.m. Monday at Bennington State Bank, 200 S. 9th St.

Trocheck said the bank was unsure of where the bill was passed due to several business deposits being received by the bank at the same time.
