A Salina man has been arrested on a warrant in connection with sex crimes.

Salina Police Captain Chris Trocheck tells The Salina Post that 20-year-old Haydyn Best was arrested on a warrant in connection with a September 2015 case involving a 16-year-old boy.

Best was booked into the Saline County Jail late Friday afternoon on multiple requested charges of aggravated indecent liberties with a minor.

Earlier on Friday, officers with the Riley County Police Department arrested Best and booked him on four counts of indecent liberties with a child and one count of aggravated indecent solicitation of a child, according to a media release.

In August of 2015, Best was booked into the Saline County Jail on requested charges of aggravated battery of a law enforcement officer, domestic battery, damage to property, and obstruction.

As of late Monday morning, Best was not listed as an inmate of the Saline County Jail.
