SALINE COUNTY -While many areas of eastern and northeast Kansas reported record rainfall, Saline County reported from .50 – .74 inches of moisture from Tuesday evening’s front.

Reports from southern Dickinson County indicated over 1inch rainfall and just over .50 of an inch in the northern portion of the county.

McPherson County reported from .04- .41 inches of rain.

Ellsworth County reported just less than .50 of an inch.

Western Ottawa County indicated .49 of an inch.

Several areas of Geary and Riley County reported over 2 and 3-inch rainfall totals. Many areas of Sedgwick also reported over 3 inches.

The National Weather Service says flood warnings are in effect until mid- to late Wednesday morning for more than a dozen counties. The counties include Douglas, Geary, Riley, Shawnee, Johnson, Leavenworth, Wyandotte, Atchison, Coffey, Franklin, Jackson, Lyon, Osage, Pottawatomie and Wabaunsee.
