A 16-year-old Salina boy has been arrested and could face a possible charge of rape.

Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney said Chrishawn Moore is alleged to have had sex with a preteen girl at his home during the first week of February.

Police learned of the incident on March 3rd from the Kansas Department of Children and Families.

Moore was arrested Wednesday after police had concluded their investigation.
