Salina Police are looking for known suspects who took car keys and a duffel bag from a woman while she was parked at a convenience store early Sunday morning. The woman in her 20’s said as she was getting into her car at Casey’s, 2404 S. 9th, just after midnight, a man took her keys away from her as she was getting into the car, and at the same time, a woman opened up a back door to the car and took a duffel bag.

Several items have been reported stolen from a Salina residence. Between May 14th and May 19th, someone took a push mower, camcorder, a Sony PlayStation game system and PlayStation games, and a military grade knife from a home located at 610 Jameson. The property is owned by Joshua Oliver and James Faircloth. Total loss is listed at $1,260.

An El Dorado man tells police someone stole a trailer with a ramp while parked Friday morning at 406 S. Ohio. Ronald McCullick said the 5′ x 10′ black trailer is valued at $1,000. It was taken between 10 a.m. and noon.

A woman, who was walking at Lakewood Park Sunday evening, tells police her purse was stolen after someone broke out a window on her pickup. Karen Henderson said the window to her 2012 Dodge Ram was broken between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. while it was parked at the park. Total loss and damage hase been estimated at $815.

A teen is in juvenile detention after being arrested for his involvement in a vehicle burglary. Police say 16-year-old Jeremiah Hadnot illegally entered four vehicles that were parked in the 600 and 700 blocks of Highland just after 12 p.m. on Friday. A concerned neighbor called police after seeing the teen looking through cars in the area. A cellular telephone plug and charging cable were taken from one vehicle.
