A tornado caused damage in Wamego, shortly after 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Many large trees have been uprooted and a few homes severely damage. There are additional reports of damage north of Wamego.

There are no reports of any serious injuries as of 3:30 p.m.

The full extent of the damage is unknown at this time.
