
SALINE COUNTY – The spring storm that rolled across the state on Thursday brought large hail, high winds and more heavy rainfall to central Kansas.
Residents of Salina County reported from 1.40 to 2.32 inches of moisture.
McPherson County residents reported 2.4 to just over 4 inches of rain. Most of Marion County received over 3 to 4 inches of moisture.
Most of Dickinson County reported over 2.5 inches of rain.
Ellsworth County received from 1.5 to just more than 2 inches of rain.
Areas of Lincoln County reported 1.83 inches of rain.
Many areas of central Kansas remain in a flood watch. The National Weather Service forecasts a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms across the region on Friday.
