A vehicle stolen from Salina early Friday morning was recovered Monday in Emporia.

Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney tells The Salina Post that a 1997 Jeep Wrangler owned by 26-year-old John Gandy was taken from his residence sometime early Friday morning.

The Jeep, valued at $2,000, was located by Emporia Police in a parking lot on Monday.

Sweeney said the keys had been left in the vehicle at the time it was stolen.
