An argument Friday night at an east Salina home ends with a woman being stabbed and a man arrested.

Police Captain Mike Sweeney said 55-year-old Michael Moyer is alleged to have stabbed the woman with a steak knife in the abdomen and left elbow during the argument at about 6:40 p.m.

The woman was taken to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment of her injuries and released.

Moyer was booked into the Saline County Jail on a requested charge of aggravated battery.
