Fairchilds Road from Sungren Road to Rose Hill Road was reopened to through traffic Friday, June 10th following completion of the replacement an existing deteriorated cross road culvert by a Saline County Road and Bridge Department crew. The site is located on Fairchilds Road approximately 0.3 mile north of Rose Hill Road.

Chapel Hill Road from Sunnyside Road to Arcola Road will be closed to through traffic beginning Wednesday, June 15th to permit a Saline County Road and Bridge Department crew to replace an existing deteriorated cross road box culvert drainage structure with a new corrugated metal pipe. The site is located on Chapel Hill Road approximately 0.5 mile west of Sunnyside Road. Work is projected to be completed by the end of Friday, June 17th. Of course, completion is dependent on unforeseen conditions such as adverse weather.

Owners of land along Chapel Hill Road between Sunnyside Road and Arcola Road will still be permitted to access their properties but only from the side of the work zone upon which their property lies until construction is complete.
