Strong to severe storms are expected on Wednesday afternoon. 60 to 70 mph winds and quarter sized hail will be possible with severe storms, with 50 mph winds and small hail are expected with the strong storms.

Very heavy rain could cause temporary flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas. The severe storms are more likely in the area bounded by a line from near Salina to Chanute to Arkansas City to Great Bend to Salina.
