Salina Police are investigating a daytime apartment burglary.

Captain Mike Sweeney said someone entered a unit at the Hillcrest Apartments, 2140 E. Crawford, sometime between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The occupants of the apartment, 20-year-old John Housmann and 16-year-old Lacey Nunnally, reported an Apple iPhone 4S, a black Samsung cellular phone, and an Asus laptop computer were taken in the burglary.

Sweeney said there were no signs of forced entry.

Total loss has been estimated at $489.
