Salina Police are searching for a pickup stolen from a Salina home early Friday morning.

Captain Mike Sweeney said someone took a white 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup owned by 56-year-old Sam Brittendall, that was parked at 302 S. College, sometime between 3 a.m. and 3:30 am..

The pickup also contained a red tool box with various tools, a Craftsman lawn mower, and a Stihl weed eater.

Sweeney said the pickup, which did not have keys inside at the time of the theft, is valued at $1,200.

Total loss in the case has been estimated at $1,850.
