Introducing Crystal Bonilla, your BANK VI Hero of the Week!

Crystal was nominated for the outstanding work she does as a foster parent for St. Francis Academy.

She has been a foster parent for 5 years, with 3 years in the kinship placement program, something that began when began doing foster care for a family friend several years ago.

Crystal, who has worked as an LPN for 10 years in Salina, has taken foster care classes along with her husband.

Crystal is currently the foster parent of five children and is in the process of adopting a 1-month-old infant and that is in addition to her own children.

One friend of Crystal’s said, “She is my son’s foster parent and I don’t think my family would be where we are if it was not for her.”
