Salina Police are investigating the theft of electronics from Walmart early Wednesday morning.

Sgt. Jim Feldman said two people, a male and a female, entered the store at 2900 S. 9th, sometime between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m., and removed two display items from the shelf.

The pair took an HP Pavilion gaming laptop and a Lenovo yoga tablet, left the store, and drove away in an unknown vehicle.

Feldman said investigators are reviewing security tape from the store in an attempt to identify the thieves.

Total loss in the theft has been estimated at $968.
