A 21-year-old Salina man is jailed for allegedly pointing a b-b gun at a car on Interstate 135 Saturday night.

Saline County Undersheriff Roger Soldan said Seth Vanbruggen is accused of pointing the gun at another car at about 11:20 p.m. at milepost 80 on the northbound side of I-135.

Soldan said the car being driven by Vanbruggen and the other car had been driving side by side on the interstate near the rest area in McPherson County. When the other car passed a truck, Vanbruggen pulled over the the shoulder of the road.

A short time later, Vanbruggen then, while passing the car, allegedly pointed the b-b gun. The other car with two occupants pulled off at the Assaria exit and called the Sheriff’s Office.

Vanbruggen was arrested on a requested charge of aggravated assault.
