A Salina man reports to police the theft of a couple of pool cues. Kennard Canada said the pool cues were taken from his SUV while it was parked at his home in the 600 block of W. Grand sometime between August 17th and August 24th. He reported the theft to police on September 9th. There was no sign of forced entry into the SUV. Total loss has been placed at $450.

A trailer is stolen while parked in a motel parking lot. The black in color 5’x 10′ trailer with a wooden bed was taken overnight between September 8th and September 9th, while parked at the AmericInn, 1820 W. Crawford. The owner of the trailer, Scott Mayes of Olathe, said the value of the trailer is $2,000.

Police take a belated report of a theft. Randall Abell of Salina said a VCR, desk fan, and a couple of paintball guns were taken from a vacant apartment at 211 1/2 W. Cloud, sometime between August 21st and September 9th. Total loss has been placed at $95. Abell also reported that he believes on August 26th, $850 in cash was taken from a desk drawer at an office at 1801 S. 9th.

A 42″ flat screen TV is damaged during a domestic disturbance. A woman who lives in east Salina said the TV was damaged after a man threw an object at the TV, shattering the screen. Total damage is estimated at $600. Police are still looking for the man.

A flat screen TV is stolen in the burglary of a rural Saline County home. The 42″ Samsung TV was taken from the home of Marvin Mann in the 10,000 block of of S. Old 81 Highway between 12:30 and 2:40 p.m. Friday afternoon. A back door was damaged during the burglary. Total loss and damage has been placed at $800.

A Salina woman tells police someone has damaged her car twice in the past couple of weeks. Brittney Allen said someone broke a window in her car between 2 a.m. and 9a.m. Sunday morning causing $500. While police were taking that report, Allen told them someone poured a foreign substance into the gas tank of the car causing damage to the gas tank, fuel pump, and filter totaling $1,000.
