HASKELL COUNTY – A Salina man was injured in an accident just before 3 p.m. on Thursday in Haskell County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1998 Mack Truck semi driven by Jesus Joaquin Flores, 47, was eastbound on U.S. 56, two miles west of Copeland.

The truck’s rear tire blew out.

It crossed left of center and entered the north ditch.

The truck’s tires then tripped in the soft dirt and the truck rolled.

Flores was transported to Satanta District Hospital.

He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
