Introducing Sgt. Brandon Uhrich, your BANK VI Hero of the Week!

Sgt. Uhrich of the United States Marine Corps was nominated for his extraordinary efforts to give the children of Salina a better Christmas with the “Toys For Tots” Toy-A-Thon each December at Walmart.

Each year, Sgt. Uhrich partners with 99KG’s Shane McClintock to hold the “Toys For Tots” toy drive. This year’s drive will be Sgt. Uhrich’s third year organizing and taking part in the drive.

Last year, there were more than 7,000 toys donated in the drive and all of them were donated to less fortunate children to give them a better Christmas.

Sgt. Uhrich has already begun preparing for these year’s drive which is set to take place the weekend before Christmas in December.
