Thursday Night Cruisers is hosting an evening of “cruising” Santa Fe Avenue on Saturday, October 8th from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. This event is a fundraiser benefitting the Lori Heimer Reward Fund.

Volunteers have teamed up with Sonic Drive-In, 310 S. Santa Fe, and will be at the exit of Sonic. Anyone wishing to donate can cruise through Sonic and money will be collected at the exit.

There will also be a raffle at the north end if the Masonic Temple parking lot, right next to Sonic. Raffle tickets with a suggested donation of 1 for $1 and 6 for $5 will be offered for a chance to win a variety of items. The winners will be announced at 9:30 p.m. on the evening of the event. Winners do not to be present to win.

Items to be raffled include: a laser cut design of the three major car manufactures (Chevrolet, Ford, and Dodge) and Harley Davidson donated by PKM Steel, two $50 gift certificates to Jay Hatfield Mobililty, four free oil changes from Jay Hatfield Mobility, a $50 gift certificate to Pin-ups Hair Salon, a $50 gift certificate to Supercharged Tattoo, and two Thursday Night Cruisers car tags donated by Redneck Cadworks.

Load up the kids in the minivan, SUV, car, or truck and come out and cruise Santa Fe like the old days. Take one lap or drive in a full evening of cruising, all for a good cause.
