Salina Police and officials at Salina South High School are investigating a reported threat made by a student.
In an email sent to parents, USD 305 offiicials said police received a report on Thursday evening that a South High student allegedly threatened gun violence against the school on Friday.
According to the email, a South student was placed under arrest on Thursday for allegedly making the threat.
School officials continue to investigate the matter.
No additional details were available as of early Friday afternoon.
