Man Arrested for Selling Car He Did Not Own

It is frowned upon to sell something that doesn’t belong to you, and a 27-year-old Salina man in jail on a failure to appear charge, now has charges of forgery and theft requested against him.

Police Captain Mike Sweeney said between August 16th and August 29th, Sergio Granado is accused of selling a 1990 Cadillac Deville owned by 24-year-old Callan Dodge of Salina, while he was taking care of the car for Dodge.

Granado sold the car and forged his name on the title. The car has been recovered.
