The Riley County Cross Country Invitational Meet will take place this Saturday, October 8th with races beginning at 9:15 a.m. at the golf course in Leonardville.

Full schedule and awards are listed below.

Race Times:
9:15 a.m. –  Open 400m Race – Boys and Girls (intended for 2nd grade and younger)
9:30 a.m. –  Open 1K Race – Boys and Girls (intended for 3rd grade to 6th grade)
10:00 a.m. – Middle School 7th Grade Boys & Girls Combined 1 Mile Race
10:20 a.m. – Middle School 8th Grade Boys & Girls Combined 2 Mile Race
10:45 a.m. – High School Girls Varsity and Junior Varsity Race – 5K
11:30 a.m. – High School Boys Varsity and Junior Varsity Race – 5K

Awards:
High School Varsity – Top 40 individuals girls and boys; 3 sets of team medals girls and boys.
High School Junior Varsity – Top 10 individual girls and boys.
Middle School – Top 10 individuals in each of 7th girls, 7th boys, 8th girls, and 8th boys.
Open 400m and 1K Race – Finish ribbons will be presented to all runners as they exit the chute.

Awards will begin immediately following the last race at approximately noon for the middle school and high school races.
