The Salina Downtown Lions Club will host a public BBQ on Saturday, October 15th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The event will be held at the Saline County 4-H Building, 900 Greeley, across the street from the BiCentenial Center S parking lot. The BBQ Meat is being prepared by Montana Mike’s.

Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door. Tickets and are available from most 4-H club members, any Downtown Lions Club member, or by calling 785-825-1807 to order or pick up your advance tickets. Dine in or carry out meals are available, as is bulk meat.

Proceeds will benefit the Central Kansas District 4-H Club Work. Downtown Lions has been sponsoring Saline County 4-H Activities since 1925!

This event is being held as one of the major fundraisers for the Salina Downtown Lions Club sponsorship of 4-H & Youth Activities in Saline County and the area. The Salina Downtown Lions Club has raised and then spent or donated over $6,500 last year toward Saline County 4-H Clubs, Youth Baseball, Youth Music Events, Lion’s Sight work, and our many other charitable and civic activities for a total of over $301,805 on them in the last 17 years.
